CoMMon SenSe?
The things I've noticed...
I moved the Stereo that plays his "silly songs" it's now hidden. When I turned on the songs rather then dance he searched the house for the stereo...
When he sneezes, he waits for me to say "god bless you" then smiles when I do...
Understands that "his" remote control is not the "tv" remote control. (same remote, just no batteries)
When I turn off the Mobile in his crib, he crawl/runs to the switch to turn it back on.
He lowers himself to look under the couch for more toys
He understands the workings of the door and likes to open and close then himself.
With all of these "common sence" accomplishments, he still can't figure that he needs to remove the pacifier from his mouth in order to put a star in his mouth. One day I caught him with a pacifier in his mouth, another pacifier in his left hand and a star (cheerio) in his right. He was completely confused. He had a look on his face like he was caught in some parallel universe.

he kept taking the pacifier out of his mouth and putting stars in when we were babysitting him on saturday.
