This Morning I woke up to my sister calling me and telling me how very importatnt it is to take extra time off work if i can afford it. A mutual friend had a baby last year and could not send her to day care right away and ended up taking more time, she said it was just too hard. And I know she's right, it's going to rip my heart out to send him away at six weeks.

Technically I can take FMLA for 12 weeks unpaid after the disability. Tony has told me time and time again to go ahead and take a couple extra weeks and he'll float us but I kept saying no. Now I wonder if I should.

My perfect senario was already shot down. I wanted to work part time from home just until Quinn was 6 months old and then come back full time. Well, My boss said no, then another women got the exact set up I had asked for. All I could figure was that I was to young of an employee for her to trust with that kind of responsability.

But now my option is to take FMLA or not. Tony made a good point, he said wait until the very last momment that you have to make the decision and decide then, now is just to early.
