My mom came to see me today, we went to a restaurant close to my house and talked for about an hour. I've noticed a change in our relationship as of latelty, we seem to talk more as friends then mother and daughter. Sometimes we revert back but for the most part it's... different.

Besides going to home depot and looking at toilets for an hour, it was an uneventful night.
