So I ended up crying today rather then yesterday!

Ever since we put the new flooring in the cats who are normally very good have been pissing and shitting in the bedroom.

And Chica, the stubborn little bitch, will not stop "nesting" in the bed. She rips holes in the bedding and the foam to make herself a little bed. She does it with couches and dog beds too. We can't keep ANYTHING, she destroys it all. Last night Tony got angry at chica and kicked her out of the bedroom so Chica figured out how to open the baby gate to the living room and scratched up my couch!

I can't take it anymore, I dont' know what to do with her! We have two other dogs that are NOT destructive and to punish Chica we have to punish them all. I'm loosing it with her! She won't let Sadie our lab eat her food until Chica has gone over and eaten her share. Sadie is not aloud to play with Dobbie my dobberman. Dobbie and Sadie really like to play with each other but Chica lets out a small growl and Dobbie goes and lays down.

So tony and I went to the Pet store and I found a little book on digging dogs, it gave all kinds of tips on how to stop them from "nesting" the only thing that I could tell that may be the problem is boredom and jealousy. So we went and bought them all kinds of toys and healthy snacks to reninforce good behavoir. We also bought the Zap collars, I know that seems horrible but when it comes to barking they are out of control. We've had the cops called on us twice! Dobbie and Sadie were OK with it because they used them years ago but chica... poor girl she didn't understand and ended up just sitting in the middle of the yard. She didn't notice that it only happened when she barked, she thought she wasn't aloud to move. I felt soooo bad, so Tony and I went outside to play ball with her. It took her a few minutes to get up and try to get the ball but she eventually did.

The thing I noticed wit Dobbie is it only took a few times, then you turn the Zapper off and he doesn't realize. He just knows not to bark when the collar is on. So hopefully Chica will do the same thing because those collars scare me. I will only lhave them use it suppervised and for short times until they learn and I can turn it off.

Last but not least we bought a kitty door to let the cats have a peacuful area with the litter box without the dogs getting into it so they might stop going inthe bedroom. (chica eats the litter) But just my luck they are afraid of the door so now they shit on the dinning room area rug. I just can't win!
